In 2006, the “Smash Revolution” motorbike by Suzuki was first sold in Cambodia. Seen as the newest modern objects, these motorbikes symbolized the will for change and modernity among young people. In a series of staged scenarios in which I perform various roles, My Motorbike and Me critically reflects on changing behavior and urban lifestyles among youth, and the influences of foreign countries.
